Job Opening – Communications Specialist at PBC Parks

The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is hiring a Communications Specialist. The ideal candidate for this role connects residents and visitors with opportunities for healthy, happy living through public relations efforts and marketing, and provides overall support for the Office of Public Engagement. Qualifications include an AS Degree or higher and a minimum of one year of office experience related to public/media relations, marketing or professional/business-level social media experience.

The Office of Public Engagement is committed to increasing the public’s knowledge of and engagement with the department’s parks, beaches, facilities, services, and volunteer opportunities, and communicating the many benefits each offers.
