ColorComm Miami will have an event Thursday, January at Florida Memorial University (FMU). The target audience is South Florida communications professionals. Other audiences and panelists will include Miami members of PRSA, National Association of Hispanic Journalists, National Association of Black Journalists, Black Owned Media Alliance, and South Florida Public Relations Network (SFPRN).

ColorComm, an organization for Women of Color in Communication, is committed to women’s mentorship, professional development, and networking. Our membership spans a host of communication related professions such as marketing, PR, broadcast, journalism, and the list goes on. We are active in the community and make it our business to help ladies in our discipline push the limits through panel discussions and intimate sessions on career pivoting, negotiation, emotional intelligence, gender equality, and a number of other topics.
Last year, ColorComm held a conference at the Ritz in Key Biscayne, where Industry and other thought leaders presented. The conference will return to Miami in 2019.
