Hemsworth Communications Kicks Off 2018 with Three New Clients and Expanding Team

Within the first two months of the year, the company has signed three new clients and added new team members in Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale.

Hemsworth’s client roster continues to grow, as the company today announced it has been named agency-of-record by Sefira Capital, Oasis Travel Network and Smart Cruiser.

Sefira Capital is a Miami-based investment boutique platform focused on acquiring/developing commercial real estate in the United States. The company’s current portfolio includes hotels, resorts, office buildings, multi-family units and self-storage facilities. Hemsworth will help raise Sefira Capital’s profile in both the local South Florida community and nationally, targeting top trade media within the company’s key verticals.

A member of Signature Travel Network, Oasis is a leading travel agency and major seller of cruises within the United States, with a network of 700 home-based agents across the United States. Its sister company, SmartCruiser.com, is a full-service online retail travel company launched in 1987. Created exclusively for the savvy traveler, SmartCruiser.com offers an all-inclusive platform for planning cruise vacations without the necessity of visiting any other website. Hemsworth will manage national PR for Oasis Travel Network with a special focus on travel and cruise trade outlets, travel agent media and national business press. Hemsworth’s PR efforts for SmartCruiser.com will focus on national consumer media.

In addition to adding new clients, Hemsworth has expanded its leadership team with new employees in Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale. Notably, Carter Long joins the team as account supervisor, supporting the firm’s expanding roster of travel, hospitality and lifestyle clients. A seasoned PR professional with dynamic experience across traditional media, digital and broadcast press, as well as social media and branding expertise, Long previously served as brand communications manager for The Emory Group. Before that, she worked for a large Florida-based travel PR firm managing efforts for Little Palm Island, Ocean Key Resort & Spa and LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, among others.
