Agency Brings Home Gold and Silver Awards in Feature Print Placement and New Opening/Launch Categories
Fort Lauderdale, FL – March 10, 2017 – Hemsworth Communications (www.HemsworthCommunications.com), a full-service public relations agency with offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Atlanta, GA received two coveted Adrian Awards at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Adrian Awards Dinner Reception & Gala in New York, NY on February 21. This was the first time Hemsworth, an agency that launched just over three years ago, entered the Adrian Awards competition. The firm received awards in both the silver and gold categories, selected from more than 1,200 entries.
The 2016 Hemsworth Communications winning client campaigns were:
- New York Times: Tracing Jewish Heritage Along the Danube (on behalf of AmaWaterways) – Hemsworth was recognized for a New York Times feature story that ran in March 2015, highlighting the line’s Jewish Heritage itinerary.
- New Opening/Launch: Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort Grand Opening – The agency was honored for its efforts planning and executing a comprehensive PR strategy leading up to, during and following the grand opening of one of South Florida’s most anticipated new resorts.

HSMAI’s Adrian Awards began in 1957 and consider entries from every segment of the travel and hospitality marketing industry, including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations and credit card companies, among others. Approximately 200 advertising, public relations, media, and Internet marketing professionals, along with leading members of the travel community are invited to serve as members of the Adrian Awards judging academy. Entries are evaluated in five equally weighted categories: marketing objectives, creativity, quality, content, and results.
