VISIT FLORIDA House Hearing Next Week – Take Action
Tourism in Florida continues to be threatened. Lawmakers are trying to cut VISIT FLORIDA, which helps support over 1.4 million employees in the Florida tourism industry. Tourism marketing is vital to Florida’s economy. Cuts to VISIT FLORIDA will hurt our local communities and place jobs at risk.
Next week, the House Appropriations Committee will hear HB 7005, a bill that will eliminate VISIT FLORIDA and several economic incentive programs. We need to stand together to protect Florida Tourism and stop this bill.
To make your voice heard and prevent HB 7005 from reaching the House floor, please consider taking part in the following advocacy actions:
- Attend next week’s committee hearing and urge members to oppose HB 7005
