Deborah Ramirez is the editor of El Sentinel, the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Spanish language newspaper. A graduate of Columbia University School of Journalism and University of Puerto Rico, she also has worked as an editorial writer, columnist and Cuba correspondent. She was born in New York and grew up in Puerto Rico.
