Monthly Meeting Reminder!
September Meetup Honoring Multimedia Journalist, Carina Mask
September is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and AWCSF is thrilled to honor multimedia journalist, Carina Mask for her incredible story about her grandmother published on Project We Forgot. Born and raised in Japan, Carina Mask, now 27, moved to the U.S when she was just 7 years of age. She pays tribute to her grandmother’s life as she shares with us memories of growing up with her grandmother, the early signs of Alzheimer’s she spotted before diagnosis and what it was like for her family to shuffle between the two countries to care for her loved one battling with the disease.
Carina Mask is our September Honoree Communicator of the Month! Here is your chance to meet her in person!
Try to make it on time; the sunset view at the venue is breathtaking from the top floor of a 27-story tower.
Guest will recieve Happy Hour Drink Special and Bar Bites. This is a FREE event for members and non members.
Looking forward to catching up with you. Please email info to get on the list. Boca Resort is a private club so you must RSVP to gain entrance.
