Plans include connecting Florida with Mediterranean Countries & Increasing International Business

Fort Lauderdale, FL August 28, 2015 Jay Shapiro is in the process of launching the new non-governmental business association which will serve Greater Florida and Mediterranean countries.

The new chamber of commerce will be of tremendous value to the State of Florida, Mediterranean-Expatriates residing in the the region and businesses overseas planning to do business in the U.S. Mediterranean Chamber of Commerce plans to promote international commerce, tourism, shipping and cultural affairs between Florida and cooperative partner countries in the Mediterranean as well as Mediterranean cultural countries such as Armenia. The Chamber will achieve its goals by retaining two Chamber-Ambassadors for each country in the region. One of the two Ambassadors will be based in Florida and one abroad in the country of origin to assist the local Ambassador and the chamber itself to promote Florida as the place to do business in the U.S.

Countless Floridians would like to see higher quality and more educated immigrants in our region. Not only will Mediterranean Chamber assist Millionaire Investors from Italy, Spain, Greece, Israel and other countries planning to emigrate to Florida but the chamber will assist in walking them through the steps of obtaining an EB-5 investor visa, introducing them to other like minded expatriates in Florida when they do emigrate and help their business grow thus growing the Florida economy in return.

The chamber has many other goals and objectives in place including: increase Florida-Exports to other countries, promote Florida as a distribution point between Latin-America and the Mediterranean, help local small business owners, host business events, promote cultural events and offer educational services related to import-export and international business in general.
