FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 28, 2015) – GPR | Goodman Public Relations, a leading South Florida full-service public relations, marketing and advertising agency, has announced the addition of new accounts to its growing client roster. Additionally, the company has promoted two executives and added a new team member.

GPR has welcomed WP Glimcher and We Florida Financial to its expanding client list. GPR has also been retained as the public relations agency of record for John Offerdahl’s Broward Health® Gridiron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival slated for November 14, 2015.

WP Glimcher is a retail REIT and a recognized leader in the ownership, management, acquisition and development of retail properties, including mixed use, open-air and enclosed regional malls as well as community centers. GPR will provide strategic counsel, media relations and community event support for 50 retail properties in 21 states.

We Florida Financial, formerly City County Credit Union of Fort Lauderdale, is a cooperatively owned, not-for-profit credit union with 50,000 members and over $400 million in assets. Founded in 1952 for the benefit of municipal employees in Broward County, it now serves individuals and small businesses in 43 Florida counties from Jacksonville to Key West. GPR will support the credit union’s branding efforts, community initiatives and outreach for its eight branches, as well as provide social media management strategies.

For the third consecutive year, GPR will provide media relations, strategic planning and onsite event assistance for John Offerdahl’s Broward Health® Gridiron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival. As many as 2,500 will flock to this signature culinary challenge that combines a love of food, football and charity.

To better serve its new clients, GPR has hired Sarah Martinez as an account coordinator and promoted two internal team members, Rachel Leshinsky and Tasha Yohan, to account executives. Martinez, a recent Florida Atlantic University Multimedia Journalism Program graduate, joins GPR from her recently completed internship at CBS 4, WFOR TV. Leshinsky and Yohan, in their new positions, will manage public relations efforts and work alongside senior staff to help implement strategic public relations and marketing plans.
