SFBJ reporter Brian Bandell has been at it for many years BUT did you know that he is also a novelist?
His science fiction murder mystery Mute has been getting great feedback from readers and the media.
*The South Florida Sun-Sentinel: “Bandell, who grew up in Indialantic, shows Brevard County’s beauty in scenes set in the Indian River Lagoon that are as breathtaking as they are scary."
*Vero Beach 32963: “In exchange for a few days at the beach with Bandell’s book on a Kindle, readers are guaranteed a serious case of the creeps the next time they cross the causeway.”
As you might have guessed, the story is like an episode of CSI: Miami suddenly becomes more like The X-Files or Fringe – A detective’s love for an orphaned girl witness has her turning a blind eye to evidence that could stop a wave of unnatural murders.

If you want another way to experience Bandell’s novel, have a listen to the “artistic audio chapter” on his blog:
Mute is available in paperback from Amazon and SilverLeafBooks.com. It’s an ebook as well. Check out the Amazon page:
