Leadership Broward Foundation Welcomes New CEO
Laurie SallaruloLeadership Broward Foundation (LBF) is pleased to welcome Laurie Sallarulo as its new CEO.

Laurie is an alumni of the 2007 Senior Executive Orientation program, served as a chair and committee member of SEO for three years, and served on the board of directors for one year.

Laurie has been working on issues affecting Broward County for more than 20 years. She is experienced in management, strategic planning, finance, fundraising, organizational development and program operations and has a proven track record for propelling organizations to higher levels of revenue generation and sustainability, increasing their awareness and reputation and developing new and innovative quality programming.

We look forward to a successful future under her leadership!

Register for the Develop Committee’s Build Your Career with a Mentor event to learn how to build a successful mentoring partnership. Presented by Judy Vogel of Vogel/Glaser & Associates, Inc., this interactive session is based on thirty years of experience and will include research-based, practical and energizing tips that you can put to work immediately to advance your career.

Member Spotlight: Jason Neufeld, Esq.
Jason NeufeldJason Neufeld, Esq. is a personal injury lawyer at Neufeld, Kleinberg & Pinkiert, PA. He received his B.A. at Emory University and then went on to receive his JD/MBA from the University of Miami.

"No other young professionals organization provides its members with the opportunity to sit on the board of directors of a prominent non-profit group," Jason emphatically replied when asked why he joined Emerge Broward. "I was first a participant in Board Engagement, and enjoyed my experience so much that I wanted to help run the program!" he continued. "This is what I love about EB – there are so many opportunities to meet great people, learn and get as involved as you want to be in the Broward community."

Jason was the program manager for a past lecture and Q&A event with the AFL-CIO union leader. He is also involved in several other professional organizations, including Leadership Broward Class XXXII and Club 2-1-1 Broward. Jason is the current Vice President of the North Dade Bar Association and is a founding member of the Young Professionals of North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.

In his free time, Jason enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and watching stand-up comedy. An avid adventurer, he is proud to have successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
